Richard Gilpin – “Nothing like Love”
Originally from Belfast, now living in Donegal. His music has been described as an eclectic blend of acoustic rock, country blues and traditional Irish music. The video shows the song “Sleeping in the Car” the song on the CD is “Nothing like Love”, both taken from his debut album “Beautiful Mistake” released in 2002. Michelle Cotter - “Wearing Out My Sleeve” Words and Music Michelle Cotter, Guitar Paul Casey
Michelle Cotter comes from county Cork she began performing with a local rock band, UXB through which she developed a long standing musical partnership with local singer/songwriter Paul Casey. She has performed in venues such as the “Meeting Place” in Midleton and “the Lobby” in Cork. This is the second song which she has recorded commercially. Further information 086-4009452

Brian Duncan - “Out of my Mind”
Brian is 29 year old singer/songwriter from East Cork has been writing songs for the last two years his most recent song “Out of my Mind” was recorded by Christian Montague, and features Brian on vocals and guitar Paul Casey on lead guitar and Christian Montague on bass and percussion . Exit the Street - “Find what I want”
Exit the street formed in July 2002 and immediately started writing their own material. They played their first gig in the Temple Bar music centre Dublin in April and since then have been building up a high reputation from their live shows. They are soon starting the recording of their first EP which should be out in early 2004. Their songs have a high standard of musicianship and thought provoking lyrics.

Trade - “Spend some Time”
Trade formed in 2001 when Maurice Hannon (vocals, guitar) decided to work some idea’s he had for new material. He knew lots of dedicated musicians in his suburban hometown of Midleton, Cork, many of whom he had worked with before. Initially the line-up comprised of Maurice’s musician friend’s from the construction site’s where the worked in Cork. Niall O’Shea (lead guitar), James Fleming (vocals, bass guitar) and Richard Wymberry (drums) and later welcomed on board an exciting new recruit Caroline Sweeney who was studying in University locally.

Gavin Moore – “Venus and Mars"
Gavin Moore, nephew of the legendary singers Luka Bloom and Christy Moore. Gavin has a residency De’Barras bar Clonakilty. The track “Venus and Mars” is taken from the EP album “Live at De’Barras”. The band Goldfish Syndrome comprises of James Walsh (vocals), Anthony Walsh (vocals and guitar),Niall O’Shea (guitar) Ciaran O’Donovan (bass) and Mark O’Riordan (percussion). Although formed about six years ago, they have not played together regularly for some time. They reformed in 2003 with Anthony Walsh joining the group on vocals. The song “10,000 Miles” was written jointly by Anthony and James Walsh. Further Information – 087-7424835

James McGrath has been writing songs,ever since he learned his second chord on the guitar.He realeased a demo Album "Time will Tell" in 1995, was awarded East-Cork Musician of the Year 1999, and has been constantly busy playing gigs mainly in the Cork Waterford area.He is currently recording his first commercial Album, set for realease in 2004."Fashion" is the title-track and tells the story of someone finding love in a person with whom they would not normally match themselves to. Blue Tonic - " Closing In"
Blue Tonic are an up and coming rock band in the East Cork area. They formed in March of 2003 but have been playing their instruments for the past one/two years individually. The have been going from strength to strength with, numerous "Battle Of The Bands" competition wins under their belt and with the release of their debut E.P "Before All Else". The band is comprised of Finian Murphy on Guitar/Vocals, Colm Ahern on Guitar/Vocals, Ross Lane on Bass and Conor Hourigan on the Drums. Colm and Finian are also aspiring songwriters and Blue Tonic's CD "Before All Else" consists of all originals written by them. The track "Closing In" is taken from Blue Tonic's demo "Before All Else", written by Finian Murphy.

Herman Baily - "Song iii"
Herman Baily has been playing and performing music for most of his life and is probably best known as a street musician of many years, indeed Herman has played city streets from Cork to Paris to Havana. His songwriting style has been likened to that of Leonard Cohen and Van Morrison and he himself would cite these as well as Neil Young and Cat Stevens as Big influences. Herman would describe his chosen path as more illness than vocation! moreover an incurable one!!"

Bobby Lee has been playing and performing music from an early age.He has a charismatic personality which is evident in his songs. Bobby has played with many groups,including Hookey and Open Kitchen. Bobby has won many musical awards including East Cork Musician of the Year, Fender Guitarist of the Year 1996. He is presently working on a forthcoming album which is due out early in the new year. He is very involved in Charity work.

David Cooney - "In the palm of your Hand" written by Brian Smith and David Cooney.
David Cooney - In the Palm of your Hand. Coleman Kelleher(djambe), David Cooney(vocals& guitar),Brian Smith(guitar), & Jean Marie Smith(Keyboards). Coleman, David and Brian are all from Midleton, and have been playing together for the past three months. They have all played in previous local bands over the past few years, and have played regularly in local pubs such as "The Meeting Place" and "McDaids". The Keyboards on the track were played by Jean Marie, Brian's sister. The lads recently supported a local band "Exit the Street" and hope to have a few more gigs lined up in the New Year.

Coming from a rock and contemporary folk backround,this collaboration melds these two different styles to form a unique acoustic sound.From various sheds and practise rooms, songs took on a life of their own, finding their way to various listening audiences in venues around East Cork.From upbeat tempo to slow melodic songs, their style tries to embrace the entire spectrum of songwriting.

Seán Kelleher - "Corners" was born 20 plus years ago and has spent most of his life since in and around the East Cork area.With the average life expectancy of the Irish male being 76 years he would like to do as much as is possible with his time here and most of all achieving happiness.Part of this life is writing and playing music.Seán has one of his songs on the compilation CD ''Like Mind Minded People 3'', it is a version of the song 'Corners' recorded live in McDaids, Midleton during the summer of 2003

Dave McGilton - Where the Jordan Flows and Roll Back The Stone
Dave is a singer-songwriter currently living out in Tower,Blarney. He has been writing commercially for a number of years and his first break came when Frances Black recorded a song of his called Falling Leaves on her Sky Road album. As well as other songs covered by Frances his most recent cover is a gospel song Sweet Victory which appears on Daniel O'Donnell's 'Songs of Faith' DVD which is being very well received in the U.S. Dave's two songs on Like Minded People 4 will be on his forthcoming gospel mini-album 'Sing Out Your Freedom' due for release Dec 2004.
